Rev. Brian Bowen, Pastor

Brian grew up in on the gulf coast of Southern Mississippi and in the farmlands of Southern Illinois. He and his wife Kelsey met at college and moved to Rockford, IL in 2025. They love the community and being at the church. After serving Providence OPC as the Pastoral Intern for a year, he was ordanied and installed as Pastor in March 2026.

Brian received a B.S. in Pastoral Ministry from Olivet Nazarene University in 2021, and an M.Div. from Mid-America Reformed Seminary in 2024.

In his free time, Brian enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing board games, and having deep conversations with the people he meets. You can often find him working at the Panera on Route 173, but he is always open for a chat!
